stars come spilling out,

from the thread where my
featherless wings,
ache between the black and white keys,
of my shoulder, stars
spilling into the rain,
unraveling, black, featherless,
thread, between your fingers,
you swallow me,
in the lightly falling rain,
of me unraveling, featherless,
between your fingers,
gracing my shoulder,
black and white,
feathers,
in the rain.
